Chapter Philanthropy

The Kappa Tau chapter is so grateful to have a local Children's Miracle Network Hospital in the Upstate of South Carolina at the Greenville Children's Hospital. The money raised by the Phi Mu Chapter at Lander University stays local to benefit the Greenville Children's Hospital.  We hold a variety of different events throughout the year that brings together our sisters and the community to join together to raise money for our local CMN Hospital.

PIE-A-PHI: Every semester, our sisters come together and volunteer to get "pied" by people who donate money to CMNH. Sisters also volunteer to bring supplies like paper towels, whipped cream, and trash bags. All of the money we raise is donated to our local Greenville Children's Hospital!

Here are some of our sweet sisters at the Pie-A-Phi board.

BUILD-A-BEAR: Our sisters LOVE to take day trips to our local Haywood Mall and purchase Build-A-Bears to donate to the kids at the CMN Hospital in Greenville! We get to decorate the bears uniquely to how we would like them to be, so the kids get to have a little bit of our personalities cheering them on alongside their new bears.

Here are a few pictures from several of our last Build-a-Bear Trips.
