Why Join Phi Mu

Why Join Phi Mu

Maybe you have it all figured out, maybe not. In either case you'll need friends to help you along the way. Girlfriends. Sisters. Friends committed to you through a lifetime of ups and downs. Friends who'll help you grow as a person and as a leader. Friends who'll be there when you realize that you really don't have it all figured out. Friends who'll need you to be there for them, too. You know the type. They are the girlfriends who demonstrate that BFF sort of connection with you. They are there to build you up and to be by your side as you build up others. They have a special sort of energy about them. They are vibrant. And they're looking forward to friending you at Phi Mu.

Four Reasons YOU should be a Phi Mu:

  • To Make Friends
  • To Be The Best You
  • For An Opportunity To Lead
  • Because You Like To Help Others

Phi Mu is so many things to each sister. It is a shoulder to cry on, a lunch date, a best friend, and a bridesmaid. Each of our sisters has something to offer the chapter and each individual member has a place within our bond.

Here are a few quotes from our sisters about why they joined Phi Mu and what it means to them:

"I joined Phi Mu to find meaningful friendships, new opportunities, and to get adjusted to college life. Joining Phi Mu was the best decision I could have made for myself. This chapter offers an immense amount of support, love, and encouragement. I could not be more grateful to Phi Mu Kappa Tau." -Darby Lynn White

"I joined phi mu to be a part of something bigger than myself and to get to have sisters by my side through life." -Mckenzie Scruggs

“The reason I joined phi mu was to able to look back after school and say that I had the opportunity to meet amazing girls from all over and taking that one opportunity turned into a lifelong family. Through phi mu I have been able to become the best version of myself and find my home away from home.” -Savannah Varney

"I joined phi mu to find my lifelong best friends and to help make college feel more like home. I found an organization that aligns with my personal values and pushes me to be a better person, characteristically and academically. I love getting to serve our philanthropy with other amazing women striving to grow and make a difference in our community." -Ashton Pless
